A core ministry of the Stillwater Church of Christ is the campus ministry outreach to Oklahoma State University. The campus ministry, known as the University Center (UC), is composed of over 150 active Christian students who share in community outreach and service to the OSU campus; to the Stillwater community; to mission projects in inner city Tulsa, Denver, and Houston; and to overseas missions in Germany, India and beyond. As a campus ministry, the University Center has been reaching out to the OSU campus since 1929 and is recognized as one of the longest continual campus ministries of Churches of Christ in the world. The University Center is staffed by a full-time Director (Monty Daffern), a Campus Minister (Barry Bachman), a secretary, and ten student interns who are chosen from within the UC campus ministry student leadership.
