International Ministry

The international ministry reaches out to international students and their families to meet their needs, especially providing help with English.  We have two English/Bible classes each week, one on Sunday at 9 a.m. and one Wednesday at 7 p.m., and we provide as many one-on-one sessions as we are able.  While teaching English, we teach the life of Christ from the New Testament books of Luke and John and about the early church from Acts.  Other activities include a monthly Sunday international worship and potluck luncheon, an annual Thanksgiving dinner with the Memorial Road Church International ministry, meals in homes, and holiday and/or special occasion parties.  You can assist our ministry by helping us contact internationals, teaching or reading with an international, and furnishing food or transportation.  Through more than fifty years, this ministry has resulted in many new Christians.
